Music video director and collaborator with
some of biggest names in pop music. He’s the man behind some of the most
visually spectacular and thematically interesting music videos ever made; his
most incredible (and by far most controversial) came in 2001, Madonna’s
original “American Life” music video which prompted some pretty relentless
background, Give it a watch below to understand what I’m talking, and keep in
mind this was all the way back in 2003, where the Iraq war was a brand new
thing. I think people massively misinterpreted the meaning of the video, In my
mind, this was a commentary on how aloof society became to it, how it was just
accepted without people understanding, or turning a blind eye to the real issue
at hand. Amongst American life, other works that deserve mention include Gaga’s
epic Telephone video and Britney
